Love having seeing our talented UPROOTING QAHR! film crew – Dewi and Jason of eight16creative- out on in the streets!

This morning, we reconnect at New Legacy High School and Early Learning Center who was celebrating its 10th anniversary. Dewi and Jason will be documenting the progress of pregnant and/or parenting high schoolers and their children impacting two generations at a time.

I was at the celebration as a co-founder with Jennifer Douglas and as its first board president. I cried that ugly cry watching former high students share as well as former children in the early learning center.

Life is lifing hard and it’s been heavy witnessing the roll back of human rights gained. Today, I was reminded of our collective power to fight the good fight and plant seeds for the future.
